Assuming someone had a good complete 87 GT without a drivetrain and an earlier 4 cyl, how difficult is it to do a complete body panel exchange ? I know Pontiac used to pitch that the Fiero could be driven without a body but is there some major difference that would prevent a full body swap ? Drivetrain/interior would be left stock.

The drive train is only different on the '88's. I don't think it's complicated. I'm going to try to remove my notchback rear clip this weekend (I hope). Sounds like you have a notchback and want to convert it in to ta fastback?

padgett, where are you located?
