It's been the end of August 2011 since I had updated this thread and body mods were suppose to start on FGTO. Still waiting and Daytona 2012 in around the corner. Doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Here is an updated pic of my baby.

I am concerned about this comment respect to Whodeanie's customs on PFF. If anyone knows anything please PM me.

Thx

Ok I think I know what is going on

This guys stopped posting in 2009 - Came back in late 2011

Wasn't Dean talking about moving his shop to a bigger and better location around then? We all know he did but this guy prolly doesn't know if he did or not.

 twocents

That's Pappy's take on it

I asked about a build, got the following reply:

I would love to, my only problem at this time is my building is being sold and I am not sure if we will be able to stay once it does. so for now I am holding off on new jobs until I know for sure. I can keep you posted but it will be march before I know anything.
D.

Doh!

That is the new bigger location to my knowledge. Dean has replied to the thread on PFF.

as some of you know I have been sick so I have not gotten here much. just trying to work threw it at the shop.
I am getting better now so all is good.

as far as the shop goes the landlord let it go back to the bank and now the bank wants to auction it off on the 3rd of march. they want too much for it so I do not know if it will sell or not. but if it does I will have to find out if the new owner will let us stay or if we have to go and it also depends if my rent stays the same or not. we do have other buildings in the area we are looking at just in case, they may be a bit smaller than what we have but we will make due. the shop will go on no mater what so don't think that we are out of here. I love what I do and want to keep doing it for a long time.

I will keep you all posted as I know more. but for now all I am doing is working on the cars for Daytona

I was looking at that and saying...
Chassis extension?
Fully disassembled?
What the???
But then I noticed the wheels... Then I noticed that the engine wasn't an L67... Then I notice the little green arrow pointing to your car way in the background... lol

I wonder if he just pushed himself too much with all the work... I'm sure the building issue didn't help either.

Although Dean  may be a stand up guy just dont get complacent and sit on your hands, in todays economy it is really easy for small businesses to go under by any minor problems ..........justkeep your ears open  and  make sure to have a plan B exit strategy. confused?

Guys I spoke with Dean a few minutes ago. Seem we have a green light for Daytona. I'm crossing my figures fingers. Next week the front bumper will go into surgery according to the design in the photo sent. I may head up to his shop for a few days. Blacktree, I may give you a call with some questions regarding the bumper.

exoticse thanks for the text message update on Friday.

EDIT:
Type-o.... Thanks Mike. I must be too excited... shy

I'm crossing my figures.
And your fingers too, I bet. wink

I bet you're eager to have your baby back home, too. I know I would be.
