I think the fairy lights look ricey. tongue

hmmm,..kind of torn on this one. IMO the original lights are impressive on their own, and with this addition you are bordering on overkill ??

On the other hand they don't  exactly look terrible either. I think it boils down to personal taste.

If it were me, i would probably have to pass.

:iamwithstupid: :iamwithstupid:

Found a solution for HL. I ordered this kit from China (via ebay) $185. I got it in 4 days! Fast shipping and yes the UPS Girl delivered! (some reason I didn't get to see her sad ).

Yesterday Lincoln and I test retrofitted these 35w, 6000k, bi-xenon (9003/H4) projectors inside the after market NSX GT-One headlight (now w/o chrome, entirely satin black). All we can say is  badgrin badgrin. The lighting and the angel eyes where super bright white. I'll post pics in a few weeks.

Assembled one headlight yesterday. Here is a comparison from the previous GT-One HL with the carbon fiber laminate/chrome and the satin black retro fitted Bi-Xenon projectors. The second picture is the white angel eye lit up. Very bright! It's very noticeable when the HL is on.

-

Ordered from SuperBrightLEDs two amber 19 LED (narrow viewing angle, type 1157) bulbs for $7 + s/h each to place in the opening next to the HL.

More pictures coming soon...

Words can not accurately describe how wicked that thing looks with the wheels on it. Especially when it's leaving a couple black stripes on the roadway. I didn't think it was going to be able to spin those HUGE meats.  OMG/Shocked tongue

Fairy lights came in from Hong Kong today. Note they are running off a 9v battery. With 12v they should be brigther.

I decided not to go with the "Mercedes Crystal antimony grey paint finish (701)" from the McLaren SLR 722 since the matte paint is too high maintenance. The only and best option for flat and matte paint is wrap.

Will be painting FGTO with:
GM paint code 8624 Olympic White/Summit White (new Camaro, Sky, HHR, etc)
GM paint code 8555 Black (new Camaro, etc) for sail panels.

Will have some black accents. More on this later.

Got your painter lined up yet ?

Got two written paint quotes and one vinyl wrap quote.

This LIP is one of the things that has been bugging me a lot on the front bumper. After carefully reviewing modern car bumpers this is my idea.

Original, swept back 01, swept back 02 and all three together.

EDIT:
Information on Oracal wraps.
