Hello to the group.  I have been wanting to get a Fiero for a long time, and it finally happened.  Picked up a nice 88 GT and looking forward to improving its performance.  Tried to come to this May's meeting, but circumstances wouldn't let me hang out for long.  I guess you guys were running late.  Anyhow, I would really like to meet up and talk with anyone that is interested in sharing their knowledge about engine swaps, suspension and brake upgrades, and any other advice you can share with a "newbie."  I live in Oviedo.  Message me if you are interested.  Otherwise, I'll try to see you all at the next meeting.

Saw this on Pennocks, and figured I should share it here with those in the area.  Car looks to be in good shape, right down to decent GT tail lights.

HOAs are the big downside of living in those communities.  Chris Munson lived in the Ocala area, however he passed in 2011.  His wife, Audrey, had a few of his Fieros up for sale in the past. One was a low mileage (<3000 miles) 88 Formula.  I retired and relocated to Florida and have three in my garage, but I'm getting too old to be working on them, so I farm out work to a local shop that is willing to work on Fieros.

Is there a strong Fiero community in Ocala btw?

Pull the left front bulb again. When you turn on the running lights it's back feeding power into your turn signal. Detective bulb... or pinched or bad wire but that's not too likely. Pull the bulb, turn on lights, see if the blinker indicator illuminates. If it doesn't, for issue is in that spot. Wiring, bulb socket, bulb... something.

I've changed every bulb except the reverse bulbs (8 in total, 6 tail/brake/turn, and two turn/running), and the problem persists.  confused? Guess next step is to check the wiring for each double filament bulb to see if there is a short in the wiring itself.  sad

Bad bulb made mine behave weird like that. Front left rectangular orange light in the bumper is my guess. The filament burned in half and swung down making contact with the other filament inside the bulb.

Turn signals flashing very slow (left significantly slower than right). Replaced the turn signal flasher, no help. Just replaced all dual-filament bulbs (front and back).  Frequency of flashing picked up a little bit, but left still much slower than right. Any ideas?

P.S. Now when I turn on the headlights or parking lights, the left-front parking light does not come on, but the left-turn signal indicator light on the dash does come on, and when I turn the left turn signal on, nothing happens.  confused?

Was wondering what the plan was. Don't know as yet if I'll make it.
